About Coach Todd
I have been involved in hockey since the age of eight and bring decades of playing and coaching experience to the ice. My playing career includes Tier hockey, high school hockey, and junior hockey. I was a member of the very first Jr. Flyers team in Valencia, where I made history by scoring the team’s first-ever goal. I later continued my junior career with the Minnesota Junior Owls in the MNJHL.
After returning from Minnesota at the age of 21, I began my coaching career with the Valencia Express. Since then, I have coached at multiple competitive levels including AAA, AA, A, and B. Over the years, my teams have achieved numerous successes, including several first-place tournament finishes, a Silversticks Championship, two CAHA Championships, and two SCAHA Championships.
I currently hold a non-expiring Level 4 USA Hockey Coaching Certification, reflecting my commitment to player development and the highest coaching standards.
Now, I’m excited to be part of another historic moment—leading the first-ever Lady Flyers 12U AA team in Valencia during the 2024–2025 season, winning the 2025–2026 WGHL Championship and finishing as Runner-Up in the 2025–2026 PGHL League. Having once been part of the first Jr. Flyers team, I’m passionate about helping grow the game and advancing girls’ hockey in the region.
Message to lady flyers
With girls’ hockey rapidly expanding—now with more than 100,000 girls registered under USA Hockey—Coach Todd is dedicated to building opportunities for young female athletes and developing players ready to compete in the Pacific Girls Hockey League (PGHL). His mission is to help grow awareness, inspire the next generation of players, and continue making history with the first all-girls travel team on this side of the 405 freeway.
