About Coach Marissa
Marissa Lam is a Southern California–born player and coach who brings high-level girls hockey experience and a strong commitment to the growth of the women’s game to the SC Lady Flyers. She developed her game at the Tier 1 level with the Anaheim Lady Ducks, competing in one of the premier girls programs in the region.
Lam has been coaching travel hockey for the past four years and brings a well-rounded perspective shaped by her playing experience in both Anaheim and Ontario. Having competed within the Southern California system and against teams across the country, she understands the level of compete required from the West Coast to the East Coast and uses that insight to prepare her players.
As a coach, Lam focuses on skill development, fundamentals, and empowering athletes to play with confidence. She looks forward to helping the next generation of players develop into well-rounded, two-way players while building a strong foundation and pride in representing the Lady Flyers on and off the ice.
