HIStory of the sc lady flyers
The Lady Flyers, founded in the 2024-25 Season, are the all-girls teams within the Santa Clarita Flyers Hockey Club, a youth hockey organization founded in 2000 (originally as the Valencia Express) and based out of The Cube Ice and Entertainment Center in Valencia, California.
The Lady Flyers girls’ teams, which currently includes teams at the 12U and 14U level, represent some of the region’s most dedicated young female hockey players, competing in leagues like the Western Girls Hockey League, Pacific Girls Hockey Leauge, and California Amateur Hockey Association girls divisions. Built on the club’s long-standing commitment to skill development, sportsmanship, and competitive excellence, the Lady Flyers program provides girls the opportunity to train, compete, and thrive in a high-energy, team-focused environment.
Since their formation, the Lady Flyers have built a reputation for resilience, unity, and competitive drive. The program emphasizes not only on-ice performance, but also leadership, character, and lifelong friendships. Players are challenged to grow as athletes and as individuals, supported by experienced coaches and a strong community of families.
