About Coach Jason
I’m a Southern California–born player and coach, and I bring collegiate experience along with a strong, physical understanding of the game to the SC Flyers. I grew up in Northridge, developing my game locally before advancing to Buffalo State University, where I competed at the NCAA Division III level.
During my youth years, I played for the West Valley Wolves, building a strong foundation under influential coaches, including Larry Bruyere. I went on to play junior hockey with the Ventura Mariners (WSHL), competing in back-to-back National Championship Tournaments and serving as team captain during the 1997–1998 season.
At the collegiate level, I continued my career at Buffalo State (SUNYAC), competing in NCAA Division III from 2001 to 2003.
As a coach, I emphasize structure, consistency, and compete level. I focus on building strong habits, responsible play, and the details that translate to success in game situations. I’m committed to creating a disciplined, team-first environment where players develop confidence, toughness, and a reliable two-way game.
