About Coach Hayden
I’m a dedicated hockey coach with a strong playing background. I grew up in Thousand Oaks, California, playing for the California Titans, where I built my foundation in the game. I later left home to pursue junior hockey in New England, competing in the USPHL with the Jr. Bruins and gaining experience at a higher level of competition. I continued my career at California State University, Northridge, where I served as captain during my final season.
As a coach, I focus on developing well-rounded players both on and off the ice. I emphasize strong fundamentals, hockey IQ, and situational awareness while building confidence and accountability in my athletes. I believe in creating a competitive but positive environment where players are challenged to grow, support their teammates, and take ownership of their development.
I value communication, consistency, and leadership, and I’m committed to helping players reach their full potential while building a strong team culture.
