About heidi
I started playing roller hockey when I was eight years old. At 15, I transitioned from roller hockey to ice hockey to further pursue my hockey career.
In the 1996–97 season, I played for the Los Angeles Kings’ first all-girls travel ice hockey team, Team LA. In 2001, I had the opportunity to train with the USA Olympic Women’s Hockey Team, and I have competed for several years in Division I women’s ice hockey tournaments across the United States.
I began coaching in 2018 and work with ice skaters and hockey players of all levels, including individuals with special needs.
I have a strong passion for empowering female athletes and helping grow girls’ and women’s hockey. I encourage every athlete I coach to be confident, give their best effort, and most importantly, have fun.
